Bogor (10\/10) \u2013 Kadet Mahasiswa Program Studi Teknik Mesin Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi Pertahanan Republik Indonesia telah meraih prestasi gemilang dalam ajang World Youth Invention and Innovation Award (WYIIA) 2023, yang diselenggarakan oleh Indonesian Young Scientist Association (IYSA), Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa (UST), dan Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB) pada 10-14 Oktober 2023 di Yogyakarta, Indonesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tim ini terdiri dari empat kadet, yaitu Sersan Mayor Dua Kadet Muhammad Ferry Fadri, Sersan Mayor Dua Kadet Ahmad Syafiq Rofi\u2019i, Sersan Mayor Dua Kadet Muhammad Haidar Syarif, dan Sersan Mayor Dua Kadet Elvira Rosmawati Rahman, yang dipandu oleh Dosen Aditia Aulia, S.T., M.Sc., Dr. Eng. Rando Tungga Dewa, S. T., M. Eng., dan Kaprodi Teknik Mesin Kolonel Tek Nanang Hery Soebakgijo, S.T., M.Han. Dalam ajang WYIIA, di mana peserta dari 17 negara berkompetisi dalam delapan bidang penelitian yang berbeda, tim ini memenangkan Gold Medal dalam bidang energy and engineering dengan penelitian berjudul \u201cInnovative Deflector Design Based on Numerical Simulation for Increasing Turbine Torque\u201d. Kompetisi ini melibatkan 343 tim dari seluruh dunia, baik secara online maupun offline, serta universitas ternama di Indonesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WYIIA adalah wadah bagi para pemuda untuk mengembangkan penemuan dan inovasi mereka guna mencari solusi atas berbagai tantangan dalam kehidupan masyarakat.
